OMICRON is a ‘Great Place to Work’

OMICRON named best Austrian employer, and OMICRON Germany also receives top ranking

For the second time since 2010, OMICRON was named ‘Best Austrian Employer’ (in the ‘large companies’ category) by the renowned Great Place to Work Institute®. In addition, the company also received two special awards for ‘Reconcilability of Family and Working Life’ and ‘Holistic Health Promotion’.

The OMICRON offices in Berlin and Erlangen participated in the Great Place to Work® survey for the first time and were also ranked among the top positions.

The main reason for OMICRON’s participation in the Great Place to Work® survey is the possibility it offers for receiving direct and anonymous feedback from employees. Comparisons with other employers also allow possible areas of improvement to be identified. The results are used as an internal benchmark and they help OMICRON by defining what steps need to be taken for further enhancing the culture of the workplace.

Within the OMICRON team, one takes pride in these awards: they are also a confirmation of our choice to focus on the employees and strengthen corporate values like trust, tolerance and team spirit. This culture is shaped by each and every team member – it is their concerted effort that makes OMICRON a ‘Great Place to Work’.

‘Personal responsibility and dedication are important to us’, emphasizes Manfred Strauß. ‘We have always tried to build an environment in which people can fully develop their potential and have fun at work. We offer numerous possibilities for personal development. Everybody is encouraged to take responsibility and push their ideas forward. The only way we will be able to sustain our growth and meet the future head on is by being a team of people who tackle challenges with passion and creativity and continuously work on providing optimal solutions for our customers.’

We would like to thank all OMICRON team members for their energy, enthusiasm and ideas, because they make this company such a special place to work!
